Talking Supreme Commander

Since MNDF clearly has no taste in strategy games, I thought I would start this fan-based Supreme Commander thread. I have DoW, C&C, Settlers, Stronghold and Star Wars Empire at War. None of these compare to the startegic gameplay of Supreme Commander. On all of these, you are forced to 'baby-sit' your units, guiding their every more.
Supreme Commander boasts large-scale maps and a full strategic view of the entire map. It is REALLY easy to stack commands and this will become an extremely important aspect of the game. This is a game where base-building and ecomics come first and units come second. Where ever there is a nuke or tactical missle, there is a simple counter. The variety of structures available is astounding, as is the variety of units. Playing this game will be one the best decisions of your startegic gaming life!

this game leaves the others licking their poorly baby-sat wounds. And it is pretty damn cheap. I bought mine for £15. And Leroy..you suck..

How is that strategic?
The unit caps in DoW force you to use a lot of strategy. The Imperial Guard, for example are a pitiful force and will be crushed by the weakest of enemies... Unless you use brilliant strategy and tactics... In which case they become and indomitable force.

Knowledge is power. I'm just helping you to know who is really your friend, and who just wants to touch you inappropriately with his wrinkly hands.

Well, the caps on skirmish can be altered drastically and those on single player are usually just enough. Like I said earlier though, its a base-building game. The buildings are counted as cap points too. The problem I had with DoW was that the cap was WAAAAYYYYY too restrictive.

Also, you overlooking one very important aspect...you suck. :P
