Maybe not kill Superman but put him into complete submission to the point where he wishes he was dead. Just takes Louis Lane to get cornered by the entire City, Superman comes in to save the day and gets overhelmed... dog pilled while Zombies try desperately to eat his brains and Louis Lane watches helplessly as she swings her purse at them.

It could be possible but not infecting him by a Bite but by Blood from a infected person going into his mouth or eyes.
Not sure if it would infect him though.

Why would they need kryptonite to get blood into his mouth or eyes?
From my Superman Knowledge, it would only be needed to bite him.

I'm not saying they would bite him, i'm saying that when he kills one, blood will fly from the area he has hit and goes into his mouth or eyes, therefore allowing the virus to infect him.

How would blood flying on him, infect him? Unless the blood had kryptonite in it.

If he was to get it in his eyes it could infect his bloodstream, well that is it would infect a human, but when you see a bullet bounce off Supes eye you gotta consider that a drop of blood would too.

There is that awesome scene in 28 Days (or weeks) Later where some guy gets a drop in his eye ond is infected. Just tried a quickYoutube search but no results.

Chekov is infected
Superman got drunk in one of the movies. Being drunk is the result of alcohol entering the bloodstream. Therefore, Superman does not have an impervious bloodstream and can be infected if the virus enters. How it would enter, I don't know, but if it enters, he's Infected.

Could they kill him though? No.
