The game isn't even released and yet there is a petition going around to halt/change design development? That's pretty bad. Here's a great solution: don't like the new design? Don't buy the game! That will show Valve!

Proof of this is the Diablo 3 petition, but you would think people would be happy that valve is going to distance to make this a good game, most developers would not redo something that is already done so that they can save time and money.

No, they're the actual new models. They've still got some refinement and all that jazz to go through but they're permanent.

Yeah, that D3 petition is stupid, we've seen maybe .001% of the game's environment and people are already complaining that it isn't dark enough...

As Valve have said; its a gameplay decision based on the opinions of people who have played the game.

Exactly, there is a reason why people playteset the game - and their feedback is crucial for the development of the game.

Personally, I don't mind the new look of the skin. Let Valve develop the game, that is one thing they are good at.
