Metametheus, judging by the effort and detail in that you are my kinda guy. Sitting up at 1 or 2AM writing about zombies (or Velociraptors; they're the other thing I tend to be paranoid about) is what I do!
Only one thing:
Fire is a bad idea with zombies.
They will not die for a considerable amount of time (shamblers will burn for pretty much as long as they want with not much harm... Infected will die much sooner but still, you don't want flaming zombies).
DO NOT USE NAPALM!!!!!!
Napalm is a sticky goo. A zombie covered in napalm will spread the fire very efficiently. Good and bad thing.
The only thing I would trust to burn zombies is Thermite (which burns at up to 2500 degrees Celsius).
Fire is good for Velociraptors though...
