Left 4 Dead Movie

Let's face it, a Left 4 Dead silver-screen outing is a very real possibility. We've had some great Zombie movies and some (less than) great game-based movies. Combining them woill obviously be a box office smash; even if it does fail in the eyes of the critics.

We only have to look at Resident Evil to see that Zombie-video-game-movies are successful (if cheesy and naff).

Assuming they do make a movie of Left 4 Dead, who would you cast as the four survivors, what additional cast members would you have and what would be a brief breakdown of your story.

Vin Diesel- Francis
Angelina Jolie-Zoey
Russell Crowe-Bill(put make-up on to make him look older, but he does resemble Bill when he has a beard)

Ok, so I got:

Francis - Ron Perlman

Zoey - possibly Lindy Booth from Dawn of the Dead (the girl who loses her father in the mall). Either her or someone completely unknown, imo.

Louis - I'd much prefer someone like Mos Def (from stuff such as Be Kind Rewind and Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy) over Samuel L. Jackson or Denzel Washington. Both are good actors, but Mos Def just seems more like Louis to me.

Still undecided on someone to play Bill, I'll edit it in laters :P

Definatley Perlman as Francis, he'd do it very well. Samuel Jackson, Angelina Jolie are too glamerous for this type of movie. Samuel is a cool dude but he's too cool for this. Louis' character is a bit more regular, perhaps Chris Rock might be a good choice.

Zoey is too young to be played by Jolie, Zoey is also a bit more of a common person in the sense that she's not particulary glamerous, she's a rough-ish girl and she needs someone to help represent that. Liz Sherman might be a good choice.

As for Bill well he's an old dude with a bit of grufness and vietnamish experience. He's seen it bad and can handle himself. If Ron Perlman did not play Francis he'd be a good Bill. However we need someone perhaps a bit older and a bit more chiseled. Perhaps Russel crowe but i cannot think of anyone at the moment.

But i heard that the actual characters were based on real people, and so the chances are that the people who voice acted them would probably play the characters.

Most time the person who makes the movie makes it suck but only the resident evil movies from the game were great Lol at the upcoming GOW movie
