I like this idea, I thoroughly enjoy the intro and find myself watching it over and over every time I start L4D. I think that if L4D were to be made into a movie, they should just use the voice actors they already have and animate it. That way the picture would still have that video game feel while still incorporating superb voice acting and an enthralling story.

Plus it would eliminate the possibility of an actor completely screwing up a character.

Unfortunately Heath Ledger died during the last stages of production of the Dark Knight. I do see the resemblance between him and Bill though; if he was still with us he would've made a good Bill.

I have NEVER been more excited for a game intro movie than that terribly-acted Resident Evil intro on the original game. It was awesome

Anyway, we have to have a B-Movie lineup (possibly directed by Uwe Boll ala Dugeon Siege: Big Names, Big Flop):

Francis: 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin
Zoey: Eliza Dushku (Or Liv Tyler)
Bill: Kris Kristofferson
The Other One: Martin Lawrence (comedy side-kick)

That line up would be so poor and have so little chemistry, I'd PAY to see it.

I think Joss Whedon would make a good director for this. What he did with the Firefly series for the short time it was running was amazing, which leads me to think that he might be one of the few directors who could get this right; casting and all.

Left 4 Dead has always reminded me of I Am Legend, anyone agree, yes it's obviosuly different, but the zombies and the way they swarm him near the end, just reminds me of that movie a lot. I don't think a movie would go down too well, but I would love them to make one!

hell no, he makes a fuckin speech in everyone of his damn movie's. its a hard choice, you want him to mach up good to the character in the game. I think it would be better with no name acter's fresh face's, known acters could ruin it.

I've given this some thought. Here's my choices:

Francis: Vin Diesel,Bruce Willis, Ron Perlman.

Bill: Sam Elliot, Tommy Lee Jones, Terry O'quinn, Robert Duvall, Kris Kristofferson, Jeff Fahey.

Louis: Mos Def, Don Cheadle, Will Smith.

Zoey: Evangeline Lilly, Sophia Bush, Eliza Dushku, Zooey Deschanel.

I personally feel that any of these would work, but the first one on each list would be my first choice.
